Awards will be given for Best Film, Best Story and Best Use of the Visual Medium. After the 4:30 p.m. deadline on April 19, a panel of UW-Eau Claire students and the film committee of the Student Senate's University Activities Commission will choose three finalists in each category. Of the three finalists, the panel will select one winner, and the awards will be announced at the May 9 festival.

An Audience Award, open to all films shown at the festival, also will be presented.

Although there are no time restrictions, films ideally should be no longer than 30 minutes. Entries may be submitted on VHS or DVD. The entry form is available in the Student Organizations Complex (Davies Center 132) and the Activities and Programs office (Davies Center 133) or may be downloaded from the UAC Web site.

The University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate sponsors the STIFFE awards.
