Student organization to offer Viennese Ball dance lessons

RELEASED: March 5, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — Two to Tango, a social dance club run by students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will host a Viennese Ball dance workshop from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 21 at the L.E. Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire.

The workshop is a way for students, faculty, staff and community members to learn to dance with confidence. It will include instruction in the Viennese waltz, polka, swing, foxtrot, and the Quadrille. Participants will receive a packet of information and a free lunch.

Registration forms for the workshop are available at the University Service Center, the Student Organizations Complex in Davies Center. The cost is $20 per couple if at least one person is a Two to Tango member and $25 per couple for non-members. The registration deadline is March 16.
