Musical events
for the week of March 8

RELEASED: March 3, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning March 8. All events are free and open to the public.

Wednesday, March 10:

• The Piano Studio of Dr. Donald Patterson, professor of music, will present "Compositions by Women Composers" at 5 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The recital, hosted by senior Mary Zimmerman, will feature 19 students performing works by Maria Therese von Paradis, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Cécile Chaminade, Amy Marcy Beach and others.
