EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will offer two different leadership series for nonprofit professionals. The Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Series is designed for nonprofit staff members who seek a broad overview of nonprofit management. The Volunteer Impact Leadership Training Series is designed to increase skills and abilities in working with volunteers. Individuals may take any number of workshops individually or sign up for the full series and receive a certificate.
"We hope to offer nonprofit professionals the opportunity to sharpen their skills and connect with one another," said Nikki Andrews, an outreach specialist in Continuing Education, who is leading the effort. "As the nonprofit sector continues to evolve, it is critical that we not only increase our competence but that we connect with one another to build a strong base of support for nonprofits in west central Wisconsin."
All workshops in the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Series run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Individual program dates, topics and Eau Claire locations are:
The cost for Nonprofit Leadership Series workshops is $99 per workshop or $570 for the series for those who register for all the workshops at same time.
All programs in the Volunteer Impact Leadership Training Series run from 1-4:45 p.m. at the Best Western Trail Lodge Hotel & Suites in Eau Claire. Individual program dates and topics are:
The cost for Volunteer Impact Leadership Training Series workshops is $59 per workshop or $199 for the series for those who register for all the workshops at same time.
