SUBJECT: 'Ask a Scientist for Kids' program set for Jan. 23
An "Ask a Scientist for Kids" program is slated for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Eau Claire Children's Museum in downtown Eau Claire.
The special UW-Eau Claire program will feature hands-on demonstrations and participation for children ages 5-10.
Dr. Erik Hendrickson, chair of the physics and astronomy department, and Dr. David Lonzarich, professor of biology department, will present the program.
The children's program will be part of UW-Eau Claire's monthly "Ask a Scientist" series. The series includes 30-minute presentations followed by 30-minute discussions led by UW-Eau Claire scientists that focus on a variety of scientific topics of current interest to the public.
