Open forum set for Feb. 23 to discuss new education building

EAU CLAIRE — Architects will host an open forum Feb. 23 to share information about plans for a new education building at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The forum will run from 6:30-8 p.m. Feb. 23 in the Arrowhead Room of Davies Center.

In July 2009, the state budget included $44.5 million for construction of a new academic building to replace UW-Eau Claire's Brewer Hall/Campus School.

While the new building was included in the 2009-11 budget, funds for construction will not be made available until 2011-13. Planning and design is scheduled to be completed in 2011.
