'Hotcakes for Haiti' fundraiser to feature 'celebrity' flippers

Help for Haiti imageEAU CLAIRE — A breakfast fundraiser for the victims of the Haiti earthquake will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 20 in The Terrace of Davies Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Tickets are required for the event, which is open to the public.

Among those who will serve pancakes are Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich, Provost Patricia Kleine and Assistant Vice Chancellor Beth Hellwig.

Tickets, which are $5, may be purchased in advance at the Service Center and will be available at the door the day of the event. Students may use the declining balance on their Blugold cards to eat and contribute to the cause

The event is part of the university's Help for Haiti initiative.
