EAU CLAIRE — "Understanding Mental Health," a series of programs designed for social workers, therapists, educators, administrators, school counselors, psychologists, police officers, substance abuse counselors, clergy and others who work with mental health issues in youth, adults and the elderly, will be offered through University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education.
The programs will be held in Eau Claire at Florian Gardens; in Hayward at the Comfort Inn & Suites; and in Rhinelander at the Quality Inn. All programs will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Topics, dates and instructors are:
The programs meet the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing requirements for continuing education for social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists and other professionals (six contact hours) and is approved by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards for six clock hours and six participant hours.
The fee for each program is $109 and includes lunch, program manual and instruction.
