Weather update: Watch for any cancellations
of Dec. 11 classes, exams

RELEASED: Dec. 10, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — Due to forecasts for heavy snow and blizzardlike conditions in west-central Wisconsin, individuals scheduled to attend classes, review sessions, final exams or other testing sessions Dec. 11 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire are advised to watch the university website or area media websites and broadcasts as appropriate for possible weather-related cancellations.

As of today (Dec. 10) at 4 p.m., all Dec. 11 classes and other events UW-Eau Claire will be held as scheduled. Students and university employees who believe that weather conditions or emergency situations make it unsafe to get to or remain on campus should consult an instructor or supervisor. Any cancellations of official UW-Eau Claire classes, review sessions and final exams will be posted by 7 a.m. Dec. 11 on the university's website, www.uwec.edu.

Besides official university classes and final exams, the following tests are scheduled to be administered Dec. 11 at UW-Eau Claire: ACT college entrance exam, Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Pre-professional Skills Test (PPST) and Wisconsin Civil Service Exam. Any cancellations of these tests will be announced on local radio and television broadcasts and websites. ACT test cancellations also are posted online at www.actstudent.org.
