EAU CLAIRE — Registration is now open for new online courses offered through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire communication sciences and disorders department and Continuing Education. The courses are part of a postbaccalaureate sequence designed for individuals who want to become speech-language pathologists, but hold bachelor's degrees in different fields.
The courses are part of the 30-credit minimum of CSD course work required for admission to a CSD graduate program. Speech-language pathologists may be able to apply these courses toward state licensure requirements. Individuals may take as many of the courses as they wish. No prerequisites are required and the courses may be taken in any order. All four spring online courses run from Jan. 24-May 20, 2011, and are taught by UW-Eau Claire communication sciences and disorders department faculty members.
