Minnesota student awarded Porter Rounds Scholarship

RELEASED: Aug. 10, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student Ellen Folman, Hermantown, Minn., has been awarded an Erle and Alice Porter Rounds Memorial Scholarship for the 2010-11 academic year.

The Porter Rounds Memorial Scholarship, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, is given annually to support incoming freshmen who exhibit great potential for success at UW-Eau Claire.

UW-Eau Claire is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values. U.S. News & World Report magazine has named UW-Eau Claire among the best public regional universities in the Midwest.
