Hmong fellowship banquet set for April 20

RELEASED: April 14, 2010

EAU CLAIRE — The Hmong Community Fellowship Banquet will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. April 20 in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The annual event is a forum for community agencies to gather together to share common goals for the future and to celebrate cultural exchanges. It features guest speakers, dinner and entertainment.

This year's theme is "Changing Times, Changing Needs."

The banquet is made possible through the support of Eau Claire area individuals, private businesses and nonprofit agencies. Donations to cover the cost of an individual dinner ($12), to co-sponsor the banquet or in any amount to assist the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association are welcome.

The event is open to the public, and reservations are appreciated.
