Boyd Student Awarded 3M Accounting Scholarship

RELEASED: Sept. 30, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire freshman Samantha Ramp, Boyd, has been awarded a 3M Accounting Scholarship for the 2009-10 academic year.

The scholarship, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, is awarded annually to an incoming full-time freshman planning to major in accounting at UW-Eau Claire and work in the profession upon graduation. Selection is based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service.

UW-Eau Claire is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values. U.S. News & World Report magazine recently named UW-Eau Claire among the best public regional universities in the Midwest.
