EAU CLAIRE — Jared Mondlock, Menomonie, was awarded the Hannah M. Greenhill Scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for the 2009-10 academic year.
The scholarship is awarded to a UW-Eau Claire freshman who is a graduate of a high school in Barron or Dunn County, was in the top quartile of his or her graduating class and has financial need. If the student maintains a B+ average, the scholarship is renewable for the sophomore year
The scholarship was established by Hannah Greenhill '58, a UW-Eau Claire alumna who taught kindergarten in Whitewater for many years, and her husband, Gaylon Greenhill, a UW-Whitewater chancellor emeritus.
UW-Eau Claire is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values.
