New Evening Hours Offered During
Graduate and Professional School Fair

RELEASED: Sept. 25, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — Golden Key International Honour Society will host the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's fourth annual Graduate and Professional School Fair from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 13 in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center.

New this year are expanded evening hours, offered to make the fair more accessible for members of the Eau Claire community who may be considering graduate programs at UW-Eau Claire. The primary focus of the extended hours will be UW-Eau Claire's graduate programs in English, history, business, nursing, psychology, special education, communication sciences and disorders, and education studies.

Representatives from more than 40 graduate programs, including those from medical schools, law schools, business schools, and health and public policy schools, will be present during the daytime hours. See a list of programs to be represented at the Graduate and Professional School Fair.

The idea for the event originated with students in Golden Key, an academic honor society for university students from all academic disciplines, and Career Services.

Paula Stuettgen, the adviser to UW-Eau Claire's chapter of Golden Key, said she is proud of the honor society's continued commitment to this university program and is excited about the enthusiastic response by UW-Eau Claire graduate programs.

"Reaching out to our community, beyond the confines of our campus and our student body, underscores the university's commitment to lifelong learning," Stuettgen said.

For more information, contact Stuettgen or fair coordinator Kate Papenfuss at 715-836-4803.
