SUBJECT: UW-Eau Claire to Host Parents Weekend Sept. 18-20

Many UW-Eau Claire students will welcome their parents to campus this weekend for Parents Weekend 2009. Activities will begin Friday, Sept. 18, and continue through Sunday, Sept. 20.

Activities that may provide story or photo opportunities include:

Dr. Erik Hendrickson, professor of physics, will lead physics demonstrations at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday in Room 007 of Phillips Hall.
UW-Eau Claire bands will perform during a dinner from 5-8 p.m. Saturday in the Council Fire Room in Davies Center.
Magician Norman Ng will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Zorn Arena.
