SUBJECT: Visiting International Scholars

UW-Eau Claire's College of Education and Human Sciences will host 10 international scholars Sept. 8-15 from Kansai Gaidai University in Japan.

The scholars will be engaged in a number of workshops led by UW-Eau Claire faculty, and will participate in numerous activities on campus, in the community and in the region. The workshops will touch on a variety of topics, ranging from multicultural education to motivating students to learn to teaching standards. The international scholars also will visit local businesses and experience the local culture during their stay.

UW-Eau Claire and Kansai Gaidai University have exchanged students since 1978.
