Oct. 14 seminar to focus on off-campus housing

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Student Senate will sponsor a seminar this month to help educate students about renting off-campus housing.

The "Dos and Don'ts of Signing" will begin at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the basement of Towers Hall on upper campus.

Seminar leaders will share information about off-campus housing leases. Students can ask questions about renting, and learn about tenants' rights and strategies to make renting a good experience.

Representatives from Student Legal Services, the Eau Claire City-County Health Department and the Consumer Protection Agency for the state of Wisconsin will lead the discussion.
