EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student Samuel Holtman, Monticello, Minn., has been awarded a Carl and Eloise Pohlad Scholarship for the 2009-10 academic year.
The scholarship, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, is given to an incoming full-time freshman from Minnesota who intends to major in accounting and work in the profession after graduation. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, class rank and entrance examination test scores.
UW-Eau Claire is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values.
