EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student Marissa Aprill, Seymour, has been awarded a Roger Groenewold Scholarship for the 2009-10 academic year.
Roger Groenewold, now retired, is a former director of admissions at UW-Eau Claire. The scholarship he created through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation is given to students who are active in and show great potential for theater performance or technical theater.
UW-Eau Claire is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values. U.S. News & World Report magazine recently named UW-Eau Claire among the best public regional universities in the Midwest.
