Two UW-Eau Claire freshmen awarded Sentry Insurance scholarships

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students Christopher Olson, Hampton, Minn., and Nicholas Rahn, Horicon, have been awarded Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships for the 2009-10 academic year.

Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarships, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, are awarded to freshmen at UW-Eau Claire who are majoring in business administration, computer science, management information systems, accounting, finance or mathematics (actuarial science). Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, national test scores, and school and community leadership and service. The scholarships are renewable for up to three years.
