Five nontraditional students awarded Chancellor's Scholarships

RELEASED: Oct. 1, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students Adam Hutter, Durand, Terri Krueger, Menomonie, Mary Proznik, Chippewa Falls, Sherri Roman, Trego, and Ann West, Eau Claire, have been awarded Nontraditional Student Chancellor's Scholarships for the 2009-10 academic year.

The scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen or nontraditional transfer students seeking bachelor's degrees. Applications are evaluated based on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement in previous college or high school course work, prior life experiences, potential for academic success at UW-Eau Claire, evidence of previous service and leadership experience, and the quality of the submitted essay.
