University Band to perform Nov. 30

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire University Band will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

Under the direction of Dr. Randal Dickerson, associate professor of music, and student conductor Michael Renneke, a senior from Eagan, Minn., the University Band will begin its performance with Henry Fillmore's "Rolling Thunder" and "Chorale and Shaker Dance" by John Zdechlik. Next will be "Voices of the Sky" by Samuel Hazo," "A Simple Celebration" by Robert Sheldon, Johan De Meij's "Lord of the Rings" and "Third Suite" by Robert Jager.

Tickets, available at the University Service Center, 715-836-3727 or 800-949-UWEC, are $4 for the general public; $3 for those 62 and older, 17 and younger and faculty and staff with a university ID; and free for students with a university ID.
