Small Business Development Center to offer advertising, promotion workshop

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Small Business Development Center and Continuing Education will offer a workshop titled "Getting Big Results with Small Ad Budgets" from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center in Eau Claire.

Dr. Chuck Tomkovick, a professor of marketing at UW-Eau Claire and a nationally recognized marketing expert, will lead the workshop. He has spent his career managing corporate sales and promotion as well as directing marketing efforts for national companies. The workshop will provide tips on maximizing an advertising budget, crafting an effective advertising plan and building a customer base.

Space is limited so early registration is recommended. The workshop fee is $189, which includes a custom designed manual.
