SUBJECT: Chippewa Valley School Press Association Conference Today

The Chippewa Valley School Press Association's annual newspaper and yearbook fall conference will continue until 4 p.m. today (Nov. 4) in Davies Center at UW-Eau Claire.

Middle and high school students from schools in the Chippewa Valley are on campus to expand their journalism skills and knowledge. The conference titled "Experience Journalism: Click. Connect. Create" will include a series of 50-minute workshops, many of which will focus on photography and new technology.

A number of journalists and UW-Eau Claire communications and journalism faculty will attend the event, providing opportunities for the students to make connections to professional journalists and to UW-Eau Claire.
