SUBJECT: Influenza H1N1 infection UW-Eau Claire student

A message was sent this afternoon to all UW-Eau Claire faculty, staff and students about an influenza H1N1 infection being confirmed today in a student.

The student, who already has left campus for the summer, is recovering from the infection at home without complications. Students and others who may have had close contact with the student are being notified by the Eau Claire City-County Health Department.
