UW-Eau Claire Names Candice Wilson
Associate Director of University Centers

RELEASED: May 7, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has announced the appointment of Candice Wilson as associate director of University Centers, effective March 1.

University Centers is a student affairs unit of UW-Eau Claire. The associate director provides leadership and supervision for the day-to-day administrative management and policy implementation in the Activities and Programs office and for business and auxiliary operations including Blugold Card Services, Blugold Dining, the University Bookstore, University Printing Services and the University Service Center. The position has primary budget responsibility and works with the assistant directors and the director of University Centers to develop policy and guide the overall management and operations of the unit.

Wilson began her career at UW-Eau Claire in 1975 in the University Bookstore, which she managed for its final 11 years as a university-run operation. She then served as the University Centers retail operations manager, business services manager, and assistant director for business and administration. She graduated summa cum laude from Lakeland College, earning her bachelor of arts degree in business administration, and received her master of science degree in training and development from UW-Stout.
