SUBJECT: Eau Claire County Humane Society Brings Dogs to Campus
The national scholastic honor societies Alpha Lambda Delta-Phi Eta Sigma at UW-Eau Claire will sponsor a fundraiser for the Eau Claire County Humane Association called "Pause for Pets."
This pre-finals stress reliever allows students, faculty and staff to pet, sit with, and/or walk an adoptable animal for a voluntary contribution to Eau Claire County Humane Association.
The event will take place from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 6) through Friday, May 8, on the Central Campus Mall.
The "Pause for Pets" will be part of the university's annual Spring Fest celebration, which includes daily concerts on the Central Campus Mall.
This is Be Kind to Animals Week.
The University Bookstore at UW-Eau Claire also is hosting a pet food drive for St. Francis Food Pantry's pet food shelf.
