Eau Claire Jazz Festival Seek Volunteers for April 3-4

RELEASED: March 26, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — The Eau Claire Jazz Festival is seeking volunteers to help with the festival on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus April 3-4.

Volunteers will assist with the educational part of the festival in a variety of ways, including by providing behind the scenes support; playing host to a visiting high school/middle school; ushering at clinics or concerts; or assisting judges.

Two- or four-hour shifts are available in the morning (6:45a.m.-12:30 p.m.) or the afternoon (12:30-5:30 p.m.).

Those interested in volunteering should call the Jazz Festival office at 715-836-4092 or go to their Web site, click on "get involved" and complete the contact information. A volunteer coordinator will contact potential volunteers.
