Summer Wellness Classes Continue at
UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE — University Recreation & Sport Facilities at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is offering wellness classes during the summer months that are open to the public.

Several classes already under way but that may still have openings include fitness yoga, Pilates, belly dancing and a Noon Power Hour. Openings also are available in two classes to begin June 15: Ayurveda and restorative yoga.

Classes beginning later this summer are as follows:

Noon Power Hour II will run from 12:10-1:50 p.m. Wednesdays, July 15-Aug. 26, in Room 11A, the group exercise room of the McPhee Physical Education Center on UW-Eau Claire's upper campus. Caryn Ling is the instructor. The fee for the class is $25 for UW-Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley Technical College students, $35 for UW-Eau Claire and CVTC faculty and staff members, and $45 for community members.

Fitness Yoga II will run from 6:15-7:15 p.m. Tuesdays, Aug. 18-Sept. 8, in the dance studio, Room 105 of the McPhee Center. Donna Sauter, a Yoga Fit-certified instructor, will teach the class. The fee is $15 for UW-Eau Claire students, faculty and staff members and $30 for community members.

Pilates III will run from 6:30-7:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 18-Sept. 10, in Room 105 of the McPhee Center. Penny Crochiere, a STOTT-certified Pilates instructor, will teach the class. The fee is $35 for UW-Eau Claire students, $55 for UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff, and $80 for community members.
