UW-Eau Claire Seeks Host Families/Friends
for International Students

RELEASED: July 23, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — The Center for International Education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire invites Chippewa Valley community members to become hosts for international students arriving for the fall 2009 semester.

Host families/friends provide a weekend home stay Aug. 21-23 before the students move into their residence halls. Hosts and their students stay in touch for activities and outings throughout the students' time at UW-Eau Claire. The Center for International Education's Host Friend Program encourages intercultural sharing and understanding.
