EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has announced the winners of a prize drawing presented during the first three weeks of new student orientation, June 8-26.
An open house titled "Organizations ... Involvement ... Action!" was sponsored by the University Centers in partnership with Housing and Residence Life and University Recreation & Sport Facilities. Hosted in the Student Organizations Complex of Davies Center, the open house helped new students learn about various co-curricular involvement opportunities on campus.
Students visiting the complex were given a "passport," which was stamped as they visited the different informational booths. Five stamps qualified a student for the prize drawing.
The drawing was held June 30. The grand prize included an All Access semester meal plan, donated by Sodexo, the campus' Blugold Dining partner. Kayla Knueppel, Hustisford, received the meal plan, valued at $1,450.
The following students also were awarded prizes, donated by the Activities and Programs office, Housing and Residence Life, University Recreation & Sport Facilities and the University Activities Commission of the Student Senate.
