for the Week of Jan. 26

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Jan. 26. All events are free and open to the public.

Sunday, Feb. 1:

• Professor Tim Lane, on flute, and assistant professor Namji Kim, on piano, will present a faculty recital at 4 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The first half of the recital will include a sonata by Francis Poulenc and "Cinema-Fantasie" by Darius Milhaud. The second half of the performance will begin with "Fantasie" by Olivier Messiaen. The recital will conclude with Gabriel Pierne's Sonata Opus 36.
