UW-Eau Claire to Offer Live Video of Jan. 20 Presidential Inauguration

American flagEAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will offer live video at two campus locations Jan. 20 when President-elect Barack Obama is sworn into office as the 44th president of the United States.

Members of the campus and greater Eau Claire communities are invited to watch the inaugural events in Davies Theatre in Davies Center and in Phillips Recital Hall in the Haas Fine Arts Center.

The official inauguration program will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and will include Obama's oath of office and inaugural address. The inaugural parade will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Davies Theatre and Phillips Recital Hall will be open beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The live video will continue throughout the day.
