SUBJECT: Community Action Fair - Feb. 5
Representatives from 50 community organizations will be on the UW-Eau Claire campus Thursday, Feb. 5, to talk with students about volunteer and other opportunities within their organizations.
The university's annual Community Action Fair will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday in the Council Fire of Davies Center. The community partners will have informational booths and several representatives will present information from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the southwest quadrant of the Council Fire.
The Community Action Fair allows students to talk directly with community partners about volunteer, service-learning, internship and career opportunities in the non-profit and government sectors.
The event is organized by the Center for Service-Learning and the University Centers' Community Action and Lifelong Learning program.
