EAU CLAIRE — Several faculty members and administrators at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire recently received grants to support programs related to diversity.
Dr. Jessica Miller, foreign languages, received $1,800 from the Tournées program for a project titled "New French Films on Campus." The overall goal is to purchase and screen five French films on campus. Le Salon Francais — the university's French Club — will help coordinate the film screenings.

The grant will provide funding for a two-day conference at UW-Eau Claire for approximately 50 faculty and instructional academic staff members.
Lissa Martinez, Student Affairs; Jodi Thesing-Ritter, Dean of Students Office; and Solberg received campus reading seminar grants from the UW System Institute on Race and Ethnicity. The grants will provide funding to purchase books with racial/ethnic themes for campus reading groups.
