RELEASED: April 29, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students will have an opportunity to address issues directly with Chancellor Brian Levin-Stankevich and his staff at a Chancellor's Roundtable from noon to 1 p.m. May 5 in the Tamarack Room of Davies Center.

Brown bags are welcome, and refreshments will be available. Admission is free and open to all.

Discussion topics include the following:

  • What is the current status of general education reform?
  • How do tuition increase initiatives at UW-Eau Claire compare to recent initiatives at UW-Madison and UW-La Crosse?
  • How will the university maintain ongoing student voice during budget cuts, through the summer and beyond?
  • Will there ever be wireless Internet service on upper campus?

This Chancellor's Roundtable will be the first to be recorded and archived for Web broadcast.
