Experts to Discuss Climate Change at April 28 Forum

RELEASED: April 24, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — Three experts will share their perspectives on climate change during an Earth Month presentation at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

"Interesting Perspectives on Climate Change: The Science, The Ethics, The Economics" will run from 5-6:30 p.m. April 28 in The Cabin of Davies Center.

The panel discussion will feature:

  • Dr. Jim Phillips, professor of chemistry
  • Dr. Sean McAleer, associate professor of philosophy and religious studies
  • Dr. Eric Jamelske, associate professor of economics.

The panelists will discuss what they believe is behind the climate change, how the world can allocate fair access to natural resources, and how a cap and trade system works.
