Career Services to Offer Job Search Boot Camp

Boot Camp Pete imageEAU CLAIRE — Career Services will be "Kickin' Your Assets into Gear" with a job search boot camp from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 23.

Events are free and open to upcoming and recent graduates of UW-Eau Claire.

Events include:

  • Mock interviews with local professionals. Interviews will be available every 30 minutes starting at 11 a.m.; the last mock interview will start at 2:30 p.m. Interviews will be in the Council Fire Room of Davies Center.
  • Resume reviews by trained professionals and paraprofessionals from Career Services will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Clearwater Room of Davies Center.
  • Job search workshops will be offered starting at 11 a.m., with the final workshop beginning at 2 p.m. A complete list of the 50-minute workshops and locations is available online.
  • Keynote speaker Terry Everson, a consultant and UW-Eau Claire alumnus who specializes in adult leadership training, will present "Stuff I Wish I Knew When I Got Started: Lessons Learned" from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Ojibwa/Ho-Chunk rooms of Davies Center.
