Belly Dancing Troupe Performance to Raise
Money for Bolton Refuge House

RELEASED: April 8, 2009

EAU CLAIRE — The Women's and Gender Equity Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host a performance by Peanut Butter and Gypsy, Eau Claire's original tribal belly dancing troupe.

The show, which will be presented from 7-9 p.m. April 17 at the Grand Little Theatre, 102 West Grand Avenue, Eau Claire, is a fund raiser for Bolton Refuge House.

The event also will offer audience members an opportunity to experience tribal-style belly dancing, which portrays the beauty and strength of women dancing together in sisterhood.

Admission is free but WAGE Center representatives will accept donations for the Bolton House at the door.

For more information, contact Krystle Naab at the WAGE Center at 715-836-2693 or wage@uwec.edu.
