EAU CLAIRE — The Gen-Con 2008 conference, "Build the Vibe," will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23 at Florian Gardens in Eau Claire.
Designed to help employers and employees learn how to create a positive workplace culture for all generations, "Build the Vibe" features three topic areas critical for creating an inclusive, engaging culture, including image, people and space.
Conference topic areas and speakers include:
The results and recommendations from a recent survey on generational attitudes and perceptions also will be presented. The survey, done by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire senior marketing research students, looked at regional businesses and UW-Eau Claire alumni.
The program fee is $79 per registrant; $69 per registrant for two or more from the same organization registering at the same time. Continental breakfast, lunch and Continuing Education Units are included in the cost.
