EAU CLAIRE — Career Services at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has launched a new service called "Career Chat."
Beginning next week, Career Services counselors will be available online for extended hours for instant message chats with students. The service will be offered 6-8 p.m. Mondays and 2-5 p.m. Tuesdays.
Students can ask questions about majors, internship opportunities or just seek advice on any number of career-related issues, said Jesica Witte, student services coordinator in Career Services.
"We are offering this service to meet the increased demand for Career Services and to better accommodate our students' busy lives," Witte said.
To access this service, students can go to the Career Services homepage and click on the "Career Chat" link.
