EAU CLAIRE —A career counselor from the Educational Opportunity Center on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire campus will accept appointments for Nov. 14 in Menomonie.
The EOC program encourages and assists eligible community adults seeking or pursuing a college degree for the first time and those seeking to complete an interrupted undergraduate program.The EOC provides the following services free of charge: individualized counseling, including career assessment and selection; investigation of training opportunities; and assistance with admissions, financial aid and registration procedures. The counselor will use labor market information to show where job growth will be and will explore a variety of training options such as certificate programs and one-, two- and four-year degrees.
The EOC counselor will take individual appointments at the Dunn County Workforce Resource, 401 Technology Dr. East. To make an appointment, call 715-836-2024 or toll free 800-335-3113.
The Educational Opportunity Centers Program is one of the U.S. Department of Education-funded TRiO programs and provides services to residents of Barron, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Rusk, Sawyer, Trempealeau and Washburn counties.
