Campus Community Invited to Meetings on New Blugold Dining Contract

RELEASED: Oct. 2, 2008

EAU CLAIRE — Four town meetings at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will gather comments and concerns for consideration during the review process for the new Blugold Dining contract that will begin June 1, 2009.

All members of the university community are welcome at the programs, which will take place in Davies Center on these dates:

  • Oct. 15, Alumni Room, 7-8 a.m.
  • Oct. 17, Presidents Room, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Oct. 20, Alumni Room, 5-6:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 21, Presidents Room, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Charles Farrell, director of University Centers, and Candy Wilson, assistant director for business and administration, will host the conversations. Refreshments will be available.

Blugold Dining offers cafeteria, fast food, a la carte, catered and fine dining options to the university community. The dining service contractor has exclusive rights to provide all types of food service on the UW-Eau Claire campus.

The University Centers is a Student Affairs unit of UW-Eau Claire.
