UW-Eau Claire Announces Parking and Transportation Changes for Summer

parked carsEAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has announced changes in campus parking and transportation for the summer months, May 19-Aug. 22.

On the lower campus the following regulations will apply:

  • The Hibbard Hall Lot will require "F" and "GF" permits.
    (Note: Only "GF" permits are valid in "GF" rows.)
  • The Phillips and Nursing lots will require "F," "S" and "GF" permits.
    (Note: "F" and "S" permits are not interchangeable. Rows are enforced as marked.)
  • Parking in the Water Street and Haas Fine Arts lots will be free. Head into stalls.

On the upper campus the following regulations will apply:

  • The Murray Lot will require "F" permits.
  • The McPhee Lot will be closed for construction May 12-Aug. 30.
  • In the Putnam, Oakridge, Governors, Towers, Chancellors and Bridgman lots, free parking will be permitted in "F" and "R" areas. Head into stalls.

All meters on campus will be enforced Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

The Visitor Center on Roosevelt Ave. will be open from 7:15 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, May 19-Aug. 22.

No campus bus service is scheduled for the summer months, but students may still use the city buses free of charge. Campus bus service will resume Sept. 2.

To obtain a disabled vehicle permit, call 715-836-2002. Vehicles without permits will be ticketed.
