UW-Eau Claire Forensics Students Awarded
Scholarships for 2008-09 Academic Year
RELEASED: June 24, 2008
EAU CLAIRE — Seventeen University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students recently were notified that they would receive a William S. Cody Hall Memorial Scholarship or a Grace M. Walsh Forensics Scholarships for the fall 2008 and/or spring 2009 semesters. The awards, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, recognize outstanding forensics students among both returning students and incoming freshmen.
Following are the students receiving William S. Cody Hall Memorial Scholarships:
- Senior Katie Nichols, Niagara
- Junior Emily Schreiner, Wausau
Following are students receiving Grace M. Walsh Scholarships:
- Sophomore Elizabeth Amann, Eau Claire (fall and spring)
- Freshman Julia Cox, Berlin (spring)
- Sophomore Alicia Gerber, Ringle (fall and spring)
- Sophomore Dylan Jambrek, Waukesha (fall and spring)
- Junior Jake Johnson, Eau Claire (fall and spring)
- Sophomore Laura Magnusson, Apple Valley, Minn. (fall and spring)
- Sophomore Nick Miller, Hales Corners (fall and spring)
