EAU CLAIRE — Every social worker, whether independent, clinical or in advanced practice, must complete at least 25 continuing education hours by the end of the current abbreviated credentialing period, which ends Feb. 28, 2009. Of the 25 required hours, at least four hours must be in the subject area of ethics and boundaries.
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education is offering three "Ethics and Boundaries" seminars on eight different dates from September through February 2009. Topics and dates include:
The $89 registration fee for each four-hour program includes instruction, materials, four continuing education hours and refreshments. The price for the longer program is $159 and lunch is included.
