EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire advancement and communications staff members received seven awards at the 2007 Council for Advancement and Support of Education Great Lakes District V conference, held Dec. 9-11 in Chicago.
UW-Eau Claire was one of 64 educational institutions honored as part of the 2007 Pride of CASE V awards program. A total of 122 awards were presented to CASE V members.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications and development.
CASE District V includes more than 400 member institutions in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. The district awards competition honored advancement and communications professionals in 46 categories. Judging for the competition is conducted by advancement professionals outside of the Great Lakes District.
Ann Hoffman, senior editor in UW-Eau Claire's News Bureau, was appointed to a two-year term on the CASE V board of directors last year and serves as chair of the Pride of CASE V awards program. Mari Jo Janke, director of the Publications Office, serves as vice chair.
