Some Spaces Available in Math Enrichment Program

EAU CLAIRE — There is still time to register for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension's Math for Young Achievers, an academic program for students ages 5 to 15 with exceptional mathematical abilities.

The multi-level program for elementary and middle school students emphasizes improving mathematical proficiency and enhancing mental math abilities. In its ninth year, the program has several graduates who are now in advanced university mathematics programs.

Classes will run from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturdays Feb. 9-April 26 at UW-Eau Claire. Classes will not meet March 15 or 22.

The fee is $195 per student for 10 sessions or $125 per student for five sessions. Fees include instruction and materials.
