EAU CLAIRE — A ceremony to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will begin at 5 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Ecumenical Religious Center at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The Chippewa Valley Youth Choir will sing "Dreams that Children Dream" during the ceremony. King's chronology and excerpts from his "I have a dream" speech will be read by student members of the UW-Eau Claire Black Student Association.
The sunset ceremony will be sponsored by the University Lutheran Church and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
People attending the ceremony can park in the Hibbard Hall parking lot without a university permit.

UW-Eau Claire will be closed Jan. 21 in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday.
